ba•sics a•bout jer•e•my

I was born in Memphis, TN and then moved to Henderson, TN (think big city moving to tractor-hunting-fishin-bumpkin land).  I lived in Tennessee until the middle of high school and then found my way to Pensacola where I have been ever since!
How long have you been in the photography business?
Twelve years.  Yikes, twelve years (unless you think that makes me sound old, in which case it hasn't been that long).

Favorite part of wedding day?

I love pretty much every part of someone's wedding day.  So many personal touches go into every wedding.  I say I love it all, but I do love a party, so bring on the reception!

Best tip for brides during the planning stage?

Like I said before, everyone's wedding is filled with personal advice would be to make your wedding "yours."  Plan it with your soon-to-be and make it something you both love.  We've seen everything from fancy ballroom weddings to backyard BBQs and every one of them is special and meaningful.

Best tip for brides on their wedding day (for great pics)?

Be present.  You've done all the work and now it's just time to enjoy! Our favorite brides to photograph are the happy ones (they're the most photogenic ones too!).  I am, shockingly, not the most serious of guys so I love a bride-and-groom that can laugh with me and have some fun.

Secret talent?

Telepathy.  Well, maybe not full telepathy, but I'm pretty good at reading people.  Skeptical? I knew you would say that.

Favorite wedding detail?

I love some fancy shoes! This may sound like I'm being sarcastic but I'm serious.  Maybe it's because my shoes are always so boring in comparison but killers shoes are awesome to photograph...and I'm always impressed brides can also walk in them.

Favorite non-photo-related hobby?

Family time! More than anything.  My family is pretty cool so family time is never boring - you can find us skateboarding, playing yard games, watchin' movies, playing basketball, anything in, near, or on the water.
