What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
First looks are one of the most special moments of a wedding day! Something about a bride and groom taking a private moment amidst the chaos that comes with a wedding day is very emotional. Abby and Dane were no exception to this. Their first look radiated the joy of these two lovebirds who were excited to kick off the rest of their lives together with a beautiful ceremony and an amazing reception, which was an absolute joy to capture.
How did the parents react upon seeing their son/daughter?
Much like the first look between a bride and groom, first looks with parents can also be quite emotional. Abby and Dane’s wedding gifted me with not just one parental first look, but two with Abby sharing the moment with her father and Dane doing so with his mother. It was awe-inspiring to see the look of pride on the couple’s respective parent’s faces. Each pair shared laughter and tears of joy before going forward to celebrate the couple on their special day!
What made the reception enjoyable?
Abby and Dane’s reception was an absolute party from beginning to end. The night started with the wedding party and the couple making a grand bottle-service style entrance into the reception with large signs and strobe lights. The couple slowed things down a couple times to share in their first dance (with some dazzling cold sparks behind them), their parent dances, dinner, and some absolutely HILARIOUS speeches from the two maids of honor and the best man. Then it was just a nonstop party for the rest of the night with signature cocktails, a hot-dog bar, awesome music, all wrapped up with a stunning sparkler exit!
