What made the wedding venue special?
“When I asked Natalia how she decided on Pensacola Beach for their wedding she told me that many years ago, on a vacation, she was so inspired by the natural beauty and decided then and there that if she were ever to get married our beach would be the place. Natalia and Juan are originally from Argentina, and their guests travelled an extraordinary distance to be there for their intimate beach wedding!! I may be a little biased, but I think the sugar white sand and crystal aqua water of Pensacola Beach are pretty special all on their own. That said, I think it is absolutely incredible that people come from literally all over the world to get married in our little piece of paradise!!”
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
“Natalia selected a classic nautical theme and went with a crisp, clean navy and white color scheme that was simple, elegant, and gorgeous!”
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“Where to begin?! Natalia told me that the details were important to her, but she didn’t tell me that she had done everything herself until the day of the wedding!! The nautical theme and navy, and white color scheme was flawlessly woven throughout the day. I loved the striped linens that mirrored the simple ribbon boutonnieres she created. The custom monogrammed napkins were a gorgeous touch and the Argentinian wines they selected spoke to my wine-loving heart. Every detail was truly perfection!!”
Where there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
“Natalia and Juan have four children together, and all four (plus their grandson!) stood with them when they said their vows. Their daughters helped Natalia get dressed and their sons shared a toast with Juan before their ceremony – it was beautiful to see how much their marriage was not just about them as a couple, but about their family.”
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
“LOVE!! The love they have for each other, for their family, and for their friends. I am not sure if I have ever seen more hugs or happy tears on a wedding day! It was beautiful and I am thrilled to have been the person to photograph it all for them!”
