What made the wedding venue special?
Christine and Clay chose the historic Barkley House in downtown Pensacola for their early fall wedding, and I can’t imagine a more perfect venue for their celebration. I can’t think of a prettier outdoor venue in our area that allows for guests to really spread out and it was a gorgeous day for their al fresco cocktail hour, and reception!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
I adored Christine’s sophisticated bridal look! She was the definition of understated elegance and I loved that she accessorized her classic sheath gown with the most fabulous floral and pearl drop earrings from BHLDN. They were such a fun, modern touch for her timeless look!
What made the reception enjoyable?
Christine emphasized throughout the planning process that they really wanted to keep the day simple so when finalizing their schedule we made sure to create space for them to be able to enjoy their cocktail hour, and reception as much as their guests! I loved that they were able to really spend time with everyone without feeling rushed through obligatory events or traditions, and it was lovely to be able to take a more relaxed approach to documenting their big day since we were able to really focus on candid interactions!
