Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Megan and Noah opted for a simple color palette for their wedding day. Most of their decor, as well as the groom’s and groomsmen’s attire, was very neutral, consisting of lots of white and black on the men’s suits. Then, everything was accentuated with a beautiful pop of a nice, soft powdery blue, which looked especially stunning on Megan’s bridesmaids! A beautiful and simple color palette, perfect for a spring wedding on the Gulf Coast!
What was the couple’s session like?
Anyone from the Gulf Coast knows that rain is an unavoidable part of life, and Megan and Noah’s wedding day was a perfect example. While the weather was not super cooperative, we were able to split up their couple’s portraits into two smaller sessions when there were breaks in the rain. The first session happened at Old Christ Church, and the couple looked absolutely stunning with a beautiful white brick church behind them! The second session happened at the Pensacola Yacht Club between rain showers. The beautiful lighting from the overcast sky made this couple look like they were absolutely glowing on what was such a magical day!!!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
The first time Megan and Noah saw each other on their wedding day was probably one of the most moving parts of the whole day! I always love getting to watch the nerves melt away from a couple the first time they embrace each other on their wedding day! Megan and Noah followed up their first look with a private vow reading, and by the end of it, both of them were in tears! It was such a gift to watch the culmination of their love story unfold right in front of my lens, and it was made even luckier by the fact that the rain held out long enough for them to do it in such a beautiful outdoor location!
