What made the wedding venue special?
Jody and Christopher chose to have their wedding reception at Christopher’s family beach house on Pensacola Beach! I learned early on in working with this amazing couple that hosting their wedding at this beach house was somewhat of a family tradition, which I felt added a beautiful and personal twist to the couple’s day! This beach house was absolutely stunning, so it was no wonder Jody and Christopher chose it to celebrate their most special day with all of their fabulous friends and family!!
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Jody and Christopher opted to have a family only ceremony, followed by a giant party for their reception! This made the ceremony feel much more intimate, while allowing the family to enjoy a small bit of this day that was just for them! However, they did not want their guests to feel left out, so immediately following their private ceremony they rushed back to the reception venue, where they had the priest do a final blessing over the couple for all of their guests to witness!
What was the couple’s session like?
Jody and Christopher’s couple session was a perfect example of how beautiful and fun doing couples portraits on Pensacola Beach can be! This couple chose to just trust the process, and their photos captured all the joy that came along with that! Paired with beautiful calm seas and a stunning sunset, I could not have asked for better circumstances to create some gorgeous imagery of an amazing couple!
