What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Emmy and Ian chose to keep their wedding small with just close friends and family in attendance, which made the day feel so much more special and sentimental to everyone involved. It was beautiful to see the smiles and interactions between all of the guests, most of whom knew each other well, creating a beautiful feeling of unity and celebration! This led to the day feeling not only being a celebration of this amazing couple, but also a reunion of longtime friends which elevated the excitement of the day’s festivities!!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Spring weddings in Florida always come with an unpredictable forecast, but Emmy and Ian got lucky with weather perfect for a beach wedding on the emerald coast! The early part of the day was filled with sunny skies and a calm, cooling, sea breeze blowing through, balancing out the warmth from the sun and making the day feel that much more comfortable. And then, by the time sunset rolled around, the weather was perfectly temperate and the sky was glowing with the beautiful cotton candy skies, perfect for some gorgeous sunset photos!
What made the reception enjoyable?
While the early part of the reception was a pleasant evening of old friends catching up and some delicious food, the latter half of the evening was probably my favorite part of the night! Although the guestlist was small, the dancefloor often felt full of all of Emmy and Ian’s family and friends cutting loose! And, the absolute cherry on top of this wildly entertaining evening was when Ian took over and started DJ-ing his own reception, which is a skill that he clearly had been developing for years! It was so amazing watching this dance party turn into his own concert!!
