Were there any unique traditions that made the reception memorable?
Victoria and Robert decided to include a special homage to Victoria’s family’s culture by partaking in an Argentinian waltz during their reception. It started with Victoria dancing with her father, and then slowly, Robert and other guests started joining in the dance, switching partners as the music played. By the end of the song, members from both families were dancing together while laughing and smiling, and having a great time! It was such a beautiful way to show the blending of these two families on such a memorable and special day for the couple!
What was the couple session like?
Victoria and Robert opted for their wedding ceremony to take place later in the day, but wanted to maintain the classic tradition of not seeing each other before the bride walked down the aisle. This meant I got the opportunity to do something I don’t normally get to do, which is couples portraits after sunset! It was so fun to be able to get creative and use the beautiful lights lining Palafox as the backdrop for this wonderful couple! It created such a beautiful fairytale look, perfect for a wedding day celebrating such a heartwarming love story!
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
Although Victoria and Robert opted not to see each other until the ceremony, Robert still wanted to share some words of encouragement with his bride before she walked down the aisle, so he ended up having a note delivered to her beforehand. What made this note extra special was the fact that he wrote it in Victoria‘s native language! It was so moving to see Robert putting forth so much effort to be involved in Victoria‘s culture, and the sincerity was not lost, as it brought the beautiful bride to tears!
