Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Rain is almost expected when planning a vibrant SanDestin wedding—and Jamee and Heath’s day was no exception. Although the morning started bright and sunny, heavy rain rolled in for a good part of the afternoon. However, it seemed the universe had their back. Just before the ceremony, the skies cleared enough for them to say “I do” outside as planned. Even better, the rain paused again at sunset, giving us the perfect window for dreamy portraits. And as if on cue, the sky cleared one last time for their sparkler exit. Talk about timing!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Jamee and Heath fully embraced the early summer season with a bright and cheerful color palette. Their foundation color—a soft, romantic light pink—appeared on the bridesmaids’ dresses and ceremony arbor. To bring in more vibrance, they added bold pops of hot pink, red, and orange in the florals and reception decor. These striking accents brought warmth and energy to the entire day. Best of all, the couple stood out beautifully in their crisp white outfits, letting the colors shine around them without distraction. It was fresh, fun, and completely them.
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Instead of a traditional first look, Jamee and Heath chose something more personal. Before the ceremony, they shared a quiet first touch and read their vows privately—just the two of them. The moment was tender, emotional, and deeply sincere. Yet nothing compared to the joy on their faces when they finally saw each other down the aisle. That moment was pure magic. Surrounded by loved ones, they locked eyes and knew this was the start of forever at their vibrant SanDestin wedding. It was a moment worth waiting for.
