Yes—one very special little guest played a big role in the day: Teresa’s daughter, Elise. As a junior bridesmaid, she stayed close to her mom throughout the wedding, beaming with joy as they celebrated their growing family. Later, Elise gave a heartfelt speech to her new stepfather, Ben. Her words moved nearly everyone to tears. Even more touching, she joined Teresa and Ben during the father-daughter dance, stepping in for a sweet moment with Ben. But just in time, the weather shifted. Not one, but two storms missed us completely. As a result, Theresa and Ben were able to enjoy a sunny spring day, just as they’d hoped.
