Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Spring weddings here on the Gulf Coast always come with a chance of some showers, whether we like it or not. However, Laura + Michael were lucky to have nothing but clear skies for their Henderson Beach Resort wedding! The weather was warm and sunny all day, and the sea breeze blowing in from the gulf made the day perfect for a spring wedding!
How did the parents react upon seeing their daughter?
Laura and her father had one of the most touching first looks I’ve seen. Her father, a decorated, career marine, was already in tears before even seeing his beautiful daughter on her wedding day. It was so beautiful to see his face light up with pride and joy as he looked at his daughter before the day went into full swing and he got to walk her down the aisle to her forever!
What was the couple’s session like?
Laura and Michael were blessed with one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve seen this season. The skies were beautiful and the beach was relatively empty which is a great foundation for some beautiful couple’s photos. But what made the photos truly breath-taking was that it was clear that the couple was having so much fun being together. The sunset photos were the perfect time to play hooky from the reception and let this gorgeous couple just enjoy being in each other’s company!
