Kaitlin and Luke’s wedding day at Sandestin in Miramar Beach, Florida, was nothing short of magical. The sun shone brightly over the Grand Lawn, casting a warm spring glow over their heartfelt ceremony. It was one of those days where everything just felt right — the light, the laughter, and the love.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Kaitlin and Luke said “I do” beneath a canopy of blue skies and gentle coastal breezes. The joy in the air was contagious — every guest beaming, every glance exchanged full of meaning. From the very first moment, it was clear how deeply loved these two are. Their sense of humor was contagious – my favorite photo from their ceremony was the laughter when the officiant referenced Kaitlin’s long-suffering experience as a Cubs fan!
After the ceremony, guests strolled through the lush Sandestin property to Marina Beach, where a dreamy al fresco dinner awaited. With tables set right on the water’s edge, everyone enjoyed a relaxed evening full of delicious food, toasts, and unforgettable views. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration flowed seamlessly into dancing on the sand — toes in the beach, hearts wide open.
Kaitlin and Luke are the kind of people who make everyone feel seen and appreciated. From their incredibly kind families to their joyful wedding party, I felt more like a guest than a photographer. It was such a gift to capture their day and to be welcomed so warmly into such a special celebration.
