Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Bricen and Jesse made a bold choice to have their guests all wear black and have a simple black and white decor for their wedding. This was a beautifully unique choice that made the bride and groom stand out among their guests! It was such an elegant way to emphasize the stars of the day and had all of their guests looking sharp. And, as a photographer, I loved the way this couple’s simple color scheme and corresponding dress code made the images feel harmonious and aesthetically pleasing!
How did the bride’s parents react upon seeing their daughter?
One of the most special moments for many brides is when their father gets to see them in their gown on their wedding day. This was definitely the case for Bricen. After her mother and sister helped her with getting dressed, Bricen had a special first look with her father that led to lots of joyful tears between the two of them. It was so beautiful to see the pride and love radiating from her father’s face!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
One of my favorite things about Bricen and Jesse’s wedding was that it was small and intimate! I love big weddings too, but there is a special intimacy that you can only get with smaller weddings. This intimacy at Bricen and Jesse’s wedding made for a beautiful level of familiarity and closeness amongst the guests, and that made everyone there feel even more important and special to the couple who chose for them to celebrate with them! And all this made the love between the couple and the friends and family around them the prominent feeling of the wedding day!
