What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Obviously, details are one of our favorite parts of the wedding to photograph, as they can tell you so much about the bride and groom. While Frances and Richard were wearing some beautiful pieces that made their wedding special to them, my favorite detail that they asked to have included in the photos was a photo of the groom’s late father. Getting to capture photos including such an important person who couldn’t be physically present at the couple’s wedding served as a reminder of how present people who have passed on are during the wedding day, and added an even deeper emotional level to this gorgeous wedding!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Anyone who lives on the Gulf Coast knows that weather can be unpredictable, and this weekend was no exception. Days before the wedding, a large storm flew through the gulf, causing some showers during the early part of this couple’s day. Thankfully, the rain let up just in time for this couple to go out onto the beach and get some beautiful couple’s portraits!!
How did the bride’s dad react upon seeing their daughter?
It’s always a beautiful experience to capture the first look between a bride and her father, and Frances and her father’s first look was no exception! The look of pure joy that spread across her dad’s face (followed by him getting a little choked up) was such a sincerely moving moment! You could feel the love and pride radiating throughout the room during this heartfelt interaction between father and daughter!
