Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
One of the most fun parts of Courtney and Matt’s wedding was an absolutely ADORABLE cookie table! The spread consisted of cookies from multiple guests in a potluck-style spread of deliciousness, with beautifully decorated treats. What made this table even better was the pile of bags so the guests could take some of the amazing cookies home!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Courtney and Matt were so fortunate to have a gorgeous sunny day to get married at the beach! While it got a little warm during the earlier half of the day, the ocean breeze came through just in time to cool things off and bring in some pleasant, fluffy clouds for the sunset couple’s photos. And the evening weather stayed pleasant into the night, with clear skies and mild temperatures!
What was unique about the bride’s attire?
Courtney and Matt obviously wanted a beautiful beach wedding, and Courtney leaned into the beautiful beach-y aesthetic in such a fun way! First, she decided to ditch the idea of beautiful (yet uncomfortable) shoes in exchange for a beautiful oceanic foot chain. And my personal favorite, she had a decorative chain adorned with seashells and pearls braided into her hair, making her look like a beautiful bridal mermaid on her wedding day!!
