What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Marti and Ed live in Michigan, and they planned an incredible, four day wedding in Destin. From welcome parties, to dinners, to golfing, to deep sea fishing, their guests were treated to an incredible weekend, culminating in the beautiful wedding day in this post (for more on their other parties, stay tuned!). By the wedding day, everyone was best of friends, and there was joy and laughter everywhere I pointed my camera, from the moment I arrived until the sparkler exit.
What made the reception enjoyable?
The Bay Kings Band always delivers, and combined with this party crowd, the reception was popping all night long! My favorite moment was when Marti took the microphone to sing a special song to Ed. Did she choose a slow and easy love song. Nope! Marti threw down “Proud Mary” and her energy put Tina Turner to shame!
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Marti’s lace wedding gown was beautiful, classic, and perfect on the gorgeous Destin beach. Ed’s linen suit was the perfect complement. But the real winner was the bride’s reception dress – it was short and sparkly and gold, and I loved it!
