Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It rained throughout the day but that didn’t stop this adventurous couple from having fun. We had an incredible wedding vendor team ready to take on any weather related hurdles. Alexa and Anthony’s wedding venue was perfect for a rainy day. There was a tent set up for cocktail hour and the rest of the wedding festivities were indoors. Alexa and Anthony were surrounded by so much love. Overall it was a beautiful and amazing day!
What was the couple’s session like?
Despite the weather Alexa and Anthony embraced the rain which made the couple’s session so FUN! We had clear umbrellas and the misty haze added a romantic element to their portraits. We twirled along with the rain and we captured the most magical moments.
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
Alexa’s second wardrobe change was her mother’s wedding dress. Alexa first had plans on wearing her mother’s wedding dress to prom but she had a better idea to save the dress for her wedding and start a sweet tradition. Her mother’s wedding dress had beaded intricate designs that had this beautiful shimmer and it fit Alexa perfectly! Alexa danced the night away in her mother’s wedding dress.
