Pensacola is a military town (go Navy!), and after over a decade here, I’m pretty familiar with the scheduling complications influenced by military service. Kendall and Grant decided to double down, and they are BOTH in the service – Kendall is a Navy aviator stationed in Norfolk, and Grant is a Marine here in Pensacola – and so trying to find a date where all three of us were available and in the same city was a challenge! We ended up choosing a downtown sunrise engagement session on a beautiful, Friday morning, and it was perfect. The golden light was soft and pretty, and I loved getting to know this cool couple as we explored downtown (which, to my photographer’s eyes, is completely different at 6am than it is at 6pm!). I’m really looking forward to Kendall and Grant’s winter wedding in Fairhope, Alabama. Not only do I have the honor of photographing it, but our entire team will be there to make sure everything is perfect (photography, videography, and planning!). We ALL can’t wait for February!!!
