Ashley + Drew – Elopement
July 23, 2020

What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?

Ashley wore the most elegant, off-white sheath dress with a fun ruffle neckline detail that looked absolutely STUNNING on her!  She looked so classic and timeless, yet modern at the same time – I LOVED her look!!

Was the exit exciting and unique?

We often see grand send-offs with sparklers or confetti at the end of the night, and they are so much fun!  Rarely though, do we see big church exits which is such a shame because they are gorgeous!  I loved that Ashley and Drew chose to do their confetti send-off and celebration with guests who were unable to be present at the ceremony immediately afterward.  It was such an exciting, fun moment and a sweet way for them to include their guests in the celebration!

Were there special details with symbolic importance?

Pinned to Ashley’s bouquet were two tie pins that belonged to her late Grandfather, and at the ceremony, in the front pew sat one of his hats right where he would have sat had he been able to attend.  It was such a sweet way to honor his memory and have a little piece of him there with them.
