Nicole + Arthur – Wedding

Weddings are so amazing! Though this statement is very broad, there are so many little intricate things and details, and so many wonderful people that have a part in making that day so amazing for the couple. As a wedding photographer, I get to see up close and personal how this all goes down on that special day (and have a hand in it). Sometimes it’s super easygoing, and sometimes there are bumps in the road, but either way, at the end of the day, two people have come together and committed themselves to one another. From what I could see, Nicole and Arthur had a pretty seamless day altogether. Their families were wonderful and the setting at Live Oak Plantation was gorgeous. When Nicole’s father came into the room to see his daughter all dressed in white and ready for him to give her away, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. They had a small prayer at that time, but the depth and weight packed into that little prayer could move mountains. From the time Arthur saw his bride in her white lace dress and cathedral veil, he couldn’t wipe the smile from his face.

The outdoor reception proved to be a great party for the couple and all of their guests, who had traveled from all over to celebrate with them. Everyone relaxed and had dinner as the sun set beautifully behind the trees of the property. Once the dancing began, it didn’t stop until the sparklers were lit and the couple was sent on their way. We had a blast!
