I’m Pensacola-bred and a woman who loves an adventure and a good time with family and friends. I have been married to my soul mate for almost ten years, resulting in raising two incredibly smart daughters. I found my love for the camera back in 2006 when I entered my first darkroom and since then, photography has always been part of my soul.
How long have you been involved with photography?
I have been making the shutter click since my high school years and haven’t put the camera down yet (except when I have to pick up one of my kids).
Favorite part of wedding day?
I can be quite the romantic, so seeing the groom, with excitement in his face, waiting to see his bride, gets me every single time.
Best tip for brides during the planning stage?
Give yourself time. It’s your wedding day and although you will have a ton of things to do, plan so you can have some breathing room. You want to enjoy your day; it only happens once. You want to live in the moments and be able to remember them and have no regrets. If possible, have a planner and stay in contact with your vendors while planning your timeline so that they can help you have just that.
Best tip for brides on their wedding day (for great pics)?
Pick a dress that you’re comfortable in. When you're confident and comfortable, it shows in the photographs. You’ll be more focused on laughing and dancing with your husband in the moonlight rather than how your dress is fitting.
I can make myself laugh pretty much on a drop of a hat.
Dream location to photograph a wedding?
Egypt, and Ireland; I’m already packed and ready to go.
Favorite wedding detail?
I have to say, not trying to be cliché,’ but I love a beautiful wedding dress and a clean tux. What makes up the two - the beading, the bowtie, the cufflinks, the suspenders, the shoes - all have to be my favorite.
Favorite non-photo-related hobby?
Throwing some clay on a wheel and going to town. I also highly enjoy video games, painting, and binge watching a series on Netflix every now and then.
