How long have you been in the photography business?
I’ve had a camera in my hand since age seven, when I used to go around photographing my cats and barbies. I’ve since broadened by range of subjects, and I’ve been photographing consistently since 2012.
Favorite part of wedding day?
I love the speeches and toasts! They are often times humorous but always heartfelt. I’m the one laughing and crying in the crowd with a camera over her face.
Best tip for brides during the planning stage?
Splurge on your photographer (of course a photographer would say that)! But honestly, the photographs captured on your wedding day are going to be the lasting memory! You will always be able to look through your wedding album and remember the beauty of that day.
Best tip for brides on their wedding day (for great pics)?
Relax! The day is finally here! The best thing to do is soak up every moment and enjoy yourself. Your happiness will show in the photos!
I make a mean grilled cheese. You have to get the temperature just right, and baby it until the bread is crisp buttery goodness. Who says a grilled cheese can’t be gourmet?
Dream location to photograph a wedding?
I just spent a month studying abroad in Ireland, and it’s beautiful! There are so many historical sites and lush greenery - and mountains! And everywhere you look there are cows, horses, and sheep! It’s definitely at the top of my list!
Favorite wedding detail?
That’s a tough one. I love them all! I really enjoy the bridal bouquets. They can be so unique and beautiful, and I love learning about the different types of foliage that are being used.
Favorite non-photo-related hobby?
Can dogs be a hobby? I love animals! I currently have two rescue pups and I love taking them to the beach or for hikes.
