Jeniffer + Luis – Wedding

The first thing I knew about Jeniffer and Luis was that they were planning a vow renewal to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, and they hadn’t had a traditional wedding when they got married. The second thing I knew was that Jeniffer wanted a very specific photo of the two of them – holding Mickey and Minnie Mouse balloons in front of their faces while holding hands. I was instantly smitten with them. I’m going to let you in on a little secret (ok, maybe not so secret if you know me at all) – I am a HUGE Disney fan, so the opportunity to photograph a Disney themed event might have made me the happiest photographer ever! Jeniffer worked with the always amazing Megan K. Events, which meant the details were bound to be thoughtful, creative, and absolutely gorgeous, and I loved how they wove in subtle Disney elements throughout the décor without going completely over the top. Every detail was perfect; from the sweet kissing Mickey and Minnie on their paper products and instrumental versions of Disney songs played during dinner, to the adorable personalized kid’s milk cups and an amazing princess themed, four-tier wedding cake from Sweet Choice Bakery. It was so much fun looking at everything and discovering all of the beautiful details, and so fantastic to see just how much thought they put into really personalizing their day.

Jeniffer and Luis, you and your families are such a delight. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your dream wedding. Cheers to never being too old for Disney magic and finding your own happily ever after!!
