I love shooting military weddings! I have a deep appreciation of for those who serve our country to maintain the rights and freedoms we have. It’s always great to meet and see the people the couple call friends because they are so diverse. Most of them are from all different parts of the country, yet they can come together from wherever to be sure to celebrate their comrade’s big day with them. It was an honor to work with Aubrey and her now husband Mitchell. Aubrey and her girls were so relaxed and fun as they were getting their hair and makeup done at Volume One. Once they were all done there, it was time for everyone to head over the historic Old Christ Church for the ceremony. The location of the church usually works out great for the guys. They can just enjoy themselves over at Pensacola Bay Brewery while the ladies finish up all the preparations for walking down the aisle. Though the couple decided to do a “First Look” prior to the ceremony, the look on Mitchell’s face as Aubrey walked down the aisle it was as if he was falling in love with her all over again.
After the ceremony, everyone headed over the reception which was held at the wonderful Pensacola Country Club. Great food, good music, and lots of fun went down inside those walls, while a group of Mitchell’s buddies, himself included, took a trip outside to enjoy celebratory cigars. It was a good day.
